Everything about divorce is according to local & state laws, thus what one state does will be of little consequence to other states.
If the state has "no-fault " divorce, then all of that is irrelevant. The simple fact that one no longer wants to be married is enough to end it and division of assets will be in accordnce with local & state laws.
