Hi everyone!!!

I have three different sets of friends that are going to be empty nesters with in the next few weeks and I am putting together "Empty nester baskets".

The basket will have a blue checked table cloth, plastic wine glasses, bottle of wine, cheese, crackers, andes mints and other finger foods. The thought is the basket is together for a picnic for two and all they have to do is go!!!!

Now I need help with writing up a card about the empty nester basket, kind of explaining it's purpose and if they replace what was used they willl be able to go on a picnic again soon!!! I am good with thoughts but not writing. So help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.................... I would so appreciate it.

I am in a time of my life that many firends will be going through this and I would like to make the baskets something special that I do for them, to show them that there are a lot of fun times to come in their lives yet. I don't plan on sharing who is sending the baskets though, I think that can be part of the fun of them.

So poets start your pens and go!!!!! Give me some thoughts of what to write please!!!

Being an empty-nester myself, I want to send you to a website, Empty Nest Moms, where I pilfered the following poem which is by Catherine Duggan:
