Hey Gang!!!

Yep old timer posting again. Just like the title states. This is my third week of being Mr. Mom. I am now a full time domestic god.

I retired this year and am living the good life [?], sold the ambulance biz because I was tired of getting screwed by the insurance companies and patients without the common decency of dinner and a movie first. Gina recently was hired as the Billing Administrator for a very busy dentist's office and is killerishly tired when she gets home.

My Mother is currently staying with us following major eye surgery and requires drops every hour plus the routine meds for glaucoma in the other eye and is 5 years post open heart surgery. Cripes, I thought Val was high maintenance, Mom sends the kids down stairs to get me if I am not by her side for 5 minutes putting clothes in the washer.

Tomorrow, Chelsea has an othodontist appt, at 11:00, I will come back, cut the grass, my son T2 will drop off my Mom [he is taking care of her while I am gone] and I will heading off to the eye docs for a 17:15 appt with her.

Family and friends are helping out with Mom, but, for some reason she prefers to be here and not at home. I did get T2 to cut the lawns at her house and my old home. That was tough, he had to sit his butt on the riding tractor and steer. At least he is helping the old man out.

Other than that stuff things are great here. K mentioned in an earlier post on the Heartpain thread that I would prob be getting a job before two years, last week was rough and I was giving it only a few days before I needed to be out of the house, but this week is going pretty well. I think I'm getting this Mr. Mom thing down pat.

Hey---I'm just jealous. I'd love to be home with the kids!!!

Enjoy your new job. I'm guessing that you'll still have plenty of new challenges.

Hey K!!!

Looks like it's just you and me. Mom had a great doc office exam, he couldn't be happier with the results post surgery, of course Mom thought it went bad. Meds have been reduced significantly because of the improvement in the eye. Nancy Nurse [me] couldn't be happier either.

I have most recently found out that Chelsea is now in two dance classes, tap and ballet and wants to assist in another class, Ian has soccer two nights a week and Scouts is coming up soon. How many days are there to a week again?

"Hey---I'm just jealous. I'd love to be home with the kids!!!" OK COOL!!! I'll trade ya, you cart them around and I'll sit on my fat [censored] waiting for a call!!! j/k [in case Gina sees this]

"Enjoy your new job. I'm guessing that you'll still have plenty of new challenges" For real her kids are cool, we get along great, guess I'm gonna have to M her soon.

K... now, I know why I always liked you... you are as crazy as I am.

Take care Buddy and Best wishes... time to crash

Hey Tim!!

I'm with K! I'm jealous too! I'd love to be home with my kids!!

You're days are sounding as hectic as mine! Work 8am-3pm, Take Kyle to football practice (4pm-7:30pm), Dylan to football practice (5pm-7pm) and Noah to practice (football of course! 6pm-8pm). Then games on Thursdays, Saturday's and Sundays. I'll have to send ya some pics, you wouldn't believe how big they've gotten! Kyle is 14 and 6' 2" now! I'm sure Chels and Ian have grown as well!

Tell Gina I said "HEY!" and I miss you guys!!

Love ya!

Hey Mitzi!!!

Well, I was gonna crash, but, G has taken over the VCR in the bedroom and is watching old tapes of Chelsea's dance recitals. Looks like I'll be up for awhile longer.

Ok, cool, so it looks like you have stuff going on all the time too. Wasn't sure if it was just me or what. I was thinking G did this on purpose.

You better send some pics. I almost have the house done. It's a little tough now. You guys were supposed to come up sometime like three years ago!!!

Crap, if Kyle is 14 and 6' 2" now he towers over me [not sure if I like that]

"I'm sure Chels and Ian have grown as well!" Um... Chels is growing taller and toward the horizon if ya know what I mean. Ian is still a skinny littly [censored].

"Tell Gina I said "HEY!" and I miss you guys"!!

We had a great time in VA Beach, would love to do it again with all our MB buddies.

Wishing you and your "new" clan the best.

Hey Zippy!!
Glad to hear that you, Gina, and the kids are doing well. Sorry to hear that your Mom is under the weather.

Things are great in Virginia Beach. The weather has been nice, except for that pesky hurricane a few weeks ago. We need to have another beach get-together sometime.

Take care and God Bless!!

Mitzi - did you get my e-mail?

Love,
Marsha

Hey Marsha,

Had a rather lenghty post ready to send last night and our "MAIN" computer pooped the bed. I'm getting ready to close the reply and the hard drive starts making funny clicking noises, then it starts going real fast and a bit of smoke comes out. I'm not a puter wiz, but, I gotta believe that was bad, so here I am on the lap top upstairs.

Don't even tease me about VA Beach, you know how I feel. Gonna try to get G to plan a vaca down there next year.

Would you be able to send your numbers and E to us at Littlecookie2000@rcn.com. My damn palm took a poop a few months ago as well and I lost everything. Man, I hope that I don't take the poop next. I'm getting to that tender age.
