Well, I have been led to believe that "The Song" represents a special memory together. Such as the first time you danced, kissed or even the first time you saw eachother. you get the idea. But sometimes it can be a song that reminds you of a special time, or provokes loving thoughts for each of you for the other. See what I mean? I hope that this helps you out. Here's an experiment. Think of the song that played the first time you danced together, then set up a "Date Night", and play the song and ask her to dance. I think it'll be a hit.
Good luck.

Or a song that makes you think of her...one of my bf's said the old song "Crazy" (from the 70's)was our song because he loved my blue eyes.
It goes "I go crazy each time when I look in your eyes."
My h says the country song "forever and ever amen" is our song because it describes how he feels.
My song is "I'm Too Sexy for my Shirt". Just kidding.

I think I would pick a song that would remind me of her..."Baby Blue" if she has blue eyes....etc. Good luck. That's really sweet of you.
