Hi,
My H told me 3 weeks ago that he had an A and the the OW is pregnant. We have been together for 16 years and married 13 of them. Things were a little rough in the beginning. We were married in early twenties and soon after had our first child. Sixteen months later we brought twins home. We had financial difficulty and I suffered from depression. Things were not easy and very busy with three little ones. Our marriage took a backseat, without realizing it. As the years have gone though and the children have grown, our financial situation couldn't be better and the last six years of our marriage have really been wonderful. I guess I didn't see that I was alone in thinking that. If this were to have happened back early in our marriage, maybe I could try to understand it, but now, when I thought we were so tight and so strong, I don't understand. I'm so confused. I have gone through every emotion I possibly can and I am left feeling so empty. My H says he loves me and he's sorry and he wants to work through this, but is unsure what to do about the OC. He says he has had no contact with this OW since he told me, but has to resolve the issue of the other OC. He says he has known the OW for about six years and the A started two years ago. My H job keeps him traveling alot, which is why I didn't see this coming. He is a great provider and a wonderful father. I love my H very much and want to work through this. I have so much hurt, anger, love, saddness, bitterness and feel so out of control sometimes. I'm trying to find some kind of peace within myself to make this happen, but it's hard. We have a counceling appointment tomorrow. I hope this will start the healing and give me the strength I need to deal with all of this, especially the OC. This sight has given me some hope that thing's can work out in time. If anyone has any advice or suggestions on getting through this, it would be appreciated.
mcdougall
[ June 12, 2002: Message edited by: McDougall ]
