OK - last ditch attempt to get H to try again. Have any of you been to the Marriage Builders Weekend workshop for couples? It seems like a fairly small thing for me to ask him for, especially if it might hold some promise for us. I know he would have to come away at the end believing it is possible for us to build the emotional relationship we are missing. I don't know if I will even have this one shot at it, but for sure there won't be any more after that (if even that.)

I want so badly to hang on to some hope - I want to prolong this as long as possible, thinking he will change his mind if I can prolong it enough. Am I being a fool to think time will improve anything? Am I in denial? Should I just let go and let it happen? I don't expect any of you can answer these questions for me, but these are my questions right now. And I have no answers.

A friend just went to the recent weekend. He had read the book and it seemed a repeat, but his wife hadn't read the book. He said they did pick up some things and were looking forward to the follow-up work.
I think of it as a jump start to recovering a M.
It's far cheaper than repeated MC sessions, and if you do the followup work, far more valuable and less time intensive.

And their M wasn't too bad, just moving away from each other. I talk to them both, so I'm anxious to hear her impression.
