I'm certainly not throwing in the towel yet, but want to get some prelim. info. Any idea what custody of the children is usually based upon? It seems the women used to always get them, but I know things are different now. Is infidelity a reson they look at?

stumpedsou,

I'm sorry that you are here. As to your question, it depends how much you want your children? I fight for mine and now have 50% custody of my children. there are more and more father gets custody of their children everyday. The bottom line is fight for what you believe and you will end up with something that you can live with. Good luck and God bless!

Infidelity means nothing with respect to custody.

Be realistic, and if you can, get a copy of the book Mom's House/Dad's House to help you with the topics about Custody and parenting through divorce.
