My H and I have been separated since the end of May. He hasn't shown any signs of wanting to have anything to do with me lately. I see him occationally when I go to pick up my belongings from his parents' house, where he also lives. He hasn't contacted me on his own in almost 2 months.

I'm wondering if I should ask him what we should do? My parents were separated for 7 years before they got a D mainly because my dad (who was the one who left) never went to get it done. I can see that happening here. My H is going on with his life but he really has no reason to formally get a D, that and if he did go to get it done he would have to pay for it.

I'm not sure if I want a D. I hate that it's come to this. I just feel like he never really felt like he was married and I don't know how long I should wait until I inquire about the subject with him. I get the feeling that he is just waiting for me to get it done because he's made it pretty clear that he doesn't want to be in a relationship with me.

Should I ask him what the deal is? I'm afraid the answer will be that he wants to get it over with but wouldn't knowing be better than forever wondering and being in a marriage that doesn't even really exist?

any kids? if not, just do it yourself, don't put up WITH A SIMILAR HUSBAND AS YOUR DAD.

then go to counseling and try to figure out why you married your dad, and do you want to marry him again?

if not, then how to look out for him again and then be strong enough to avoid him, but to write down the qualities in the person that you do want to marry, and try to find him. . .

you are young though, and with no kids, don't put up with this type of crap in the hnoneymoon phase as it only gets more difficult if you have kids. .
