Jennifer's wedding day was fast approaching. Nothing could dampen her excitement - not even her parents' nasty divorce.

Her mother had found the PERFECT dress to wear and would be the best dressed mother-of-the-bride ever!

A week later, Jennifer was horrified to learn that her father's new young wife had bought the exact same dress! Jennifer asked her to exchange it, but she refused. "Absolutely not. I look like a million bucks in this dress, and I'm wearing it," she replied.

Jennifer told her mother, Sheila, who graciously said, "Never mind sweetheart. I'll get another dress. After all, it's your special day."

A few days later, they went shopping and did find another gorgeous dress. When they stopped for lunch, Jennifer asked her mother, "Aren't you going to return the other dress? You really don't have another occasion where you could wear it."

Sheila just smiled and replied, "Of course I do, dear. I'm wearing it to the rehearsal dinner!"

This is not a mother of the bride story but my aunt was at a wedding where when the bride walked down the aisle and the pastor asked if anyone objected, the bride turned around to the congregation and said,

"I want to thank you all for coming. If you brought a present please take it with you. This SOB (pointing to her fiance) slept with this wh*ore (and pointed to one of her bridesmaids) last night."

Then she walked out. Because my aunt knew her family, she asked about it later. Her mother said noone in the family knew what had happened beforehand. Her daughter said if she had cancelled the wedding, everyone would feel sorry for him and think she was a horrible person. Telling everyone at one time would prevent rumors and the truth would come out. This was a small town and I'm sure talked about for generations to come.

Wow! jph

That sounds kind of familiar! Does anybody remember the story that Jay Leno told over his show?

It was a couple getting married in Toronto...

The Groom was very suspect of his bride-to-be and his best man. The groom; several weeks prior to the wedding; hired a PI.

The PI took pictures of his wife-to-be and the best man...in bed together.

On the day they got married... the groom had tons of copies of the pics made and taped it underneath each guess seats at the reception.

When the groom got up and made announcement..thanking all the family and friends for coming out to their wedding. He told them reach under their seats..that he had a gift for them.

Then the groom proceeded to tell off the bestman and told his now wife to"[censored] OFF" And he stormed out.

Apparently the brides family..paid thousands for the wedding.

The groom immediately on Monday morning ... was granted annulment!
