Just been reading the posts here and I'd thought I would join up and tell you my story

3-4 months ago my husband came home and said he was leaving me after 12 years of marriage I was shocked but not that worried about it because we had countless agruements before...within 2 days he had moved out and took the good stuff with him,he came back a few days later to tell me he had gone to the courts and filed for divorce...but unknowing to him I was planning my new life already I had started a new job and boy that was hard cause I had to come home after a hards days work to an empty house and I was living in the bedroom with of my stuff packed not knowing whether he would throw the lot in to the street while I was at work he had threaterned too if I did not sign the divorce papers in front of him(I think he was scared that I would just throw them in the bin) what I did was signed them myself and posted them in the post(I was not going to let him treat me this way he was trying to control me,if I did not do anything he wanted me to do he would try and blackmail me cause I was at the home still cause it was in his name and he was paying the bills etc.Within 3 weeks of this happening I started a new job saved moved moved home(and today Im sitting in this new home happy as pie im more happier now than I've been in years but its hard at times but all i do is just turn the other cheek) What I know now is the reason why he left in such a hurry is because he moved in with this woman he had only known for three weeks and I hear on the grape vine he has asked her to marry him which i find weird is because he was married to his first wife when we met and he asked me to marry him so its like history repeating itself...third time lucky for him i guess and im sitting here with the upper hand I have worked so hard and had to even starve myself to get where iam today a nice home new laptop nice friends and a good job and a new furture ahead of me..cause I know one day his new wife could do the same thing to him as he did to me I had no money no job and was scared stiff when he left and was feared of the unknown..but now all mine means all mine and no body can take things from me and leave me with nothing only i can do this if I GIVE up on life and let him win..my life is my now and no ones else and im happy within myself now that my HEART is in tune with my HEAD...Thanks for reading but life does get better when you have to survive you really do survive theres no other choice why worry over a person who dont want you...
