What does a person do when the chances of divorcing becomes a reality, when one has some college, diagnosed with ADD and can't afford meds because we have the cheapest insurance around, has two kids one with Autism, haven't worked in 7 years and is now totally dependent on H for financial security.
I also live in a city where it is really expensive to live. If you want to live in a good school district you are looking at 1200 a month for a two bedroom apartment!!!!!! And with my son who has AS, it is manitory to live in a good district.
Husband also took a 30 grand hit in pay. So his child support will be nothing. What does a person like me do? HELP HELP HELP <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" />

You get a plan.
Find a local women's crisis center.
This may provide free counseling and also information on housing, shelters, etc.
Getting a counselor is very important to help you through this crisis, particularly with children.
