I just wondering what do you want out of life? Other than winning the big one.
As for myself and my GF all we want is to finish raising the kids, make sure they get a good education, grow up to be decent people, own a house,a decent vehical and be happy and live in peace. We don't want to be rich just comfortable and happy. She would like a garden with roses and me I would like a work shop again.

Other than a winning lottery ticket,hm? A little place to live (a trailer would be fine) on a little plot of dirt and enough money to eat and pay the electric bill...a little place where I could write in peace and it would be far enough out that the kids couldn't drop in everyday. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I'd love to continue building telescopes and instruments, astronomy, and learning new things.

And continue sharing what I do with other folks.

Most important to me, I'd like to share my life equally with another. Have someone pull me in directions I wouldn't go alone. Watch the kids grow and nurture them to think, to question, to wonder, and to search for the answer.

Just to continue my life with my wife (sorry I'm a poet and didn't know it LOL) as it is now and to do as we've been doing since we married - working towards goals together. Winning the big one? Yeah, that would be nice - I think. Until 'relatives' and friendZ you never knew come out of the woodwork after you. I guess I have to ask myself - if money makes folks so happy, then why do our popular entertainers/superstars/hollywood types have such miserable lives? Why can't they stay married to one Mate? Why so much drug abuse and suicide? To me, at least, I don't think money made them or keeps them happy. The Book of Proverbs says, The sleep of a laboring man is sweet - but to the rich it's given to heap up, ie. keep hoarding more and more wealth...
Song by Lynard Skynard, "A Simple Man" now that is pretty well put - just live a simple life and appreciate what comes your way! Live your days out with your Mate and enjoy each other - working towards Goals - one at a time. And then when we die - Heaven is waiting...
God bless y'all.
Harold
