i was wondering if anyone can give me some ways to go about this.My h and i have been married for almost 6 years and we have 2 children together.he has left me a couple of times.And im afaid if i try to leave he will go insane he is mentaly abusive and controlles me in everyway.I have no idea where i should start and im a 23 year old that needs answers...

Before I give you any advice, would you please give examples of "mental abuse" he has perpetrated? Mentally abusive means different things to different people.
If you think your husband would harm you or the children should you attempt to leave, you need to be very careful. Contact a women's shelter, but don't do it in a way he can find out. If he's really bad make sure to erase the whole history and cookies for this web site each time. Check in your temporary folders for links to the site as well. Protect your identity here.
My STBX was not abusive (although this is sometimes debated here by my near and dear). Even so, my lawyer suggested squirrling away cash. Get a safety deposit box and save cold hard cash. Make sure your box is not in your usual bank.
Women's shelters will offer a whole lot of information. The important thing is to stay safe.
