My husband and i were recieving medical insurance from the state. We have been living apart for 3 months now, I just recieved papers that i have to send in a review to continue coverage. I am not a very good liar i cant say he is here when he is not. He will lose his coverage maybe or he may quilify for him self since he is a diabetic. I feel very bad about this but i need to make sure my children are covered.I ahve already talked to an intake worker so i cant change my mind now. I am feeling guilty about this. I am not doing it to be mean.It has to be done. Any one else ever get this way. I know the marraige is over. I just dont want to always be the bad guy,

thanks p.p

What is the nature of your seperation? Are either of you in an affair?

If he left you for an affair, I'd feel very little for him regarding his health coverage, he made a choice.

If you left him, giving him no choice, then explore the options you have to cover him if you feel so driven.

That's what I'd do, that and $3.50 will get you a cup of so-so coffee.

There was not an affar. It was my choice to end the marraige after many unsuccessful attempts to slavage it. Everytime we made progress it would not be long before his old behavior would retuen and id be right back where i was. I was not physiacaly abused. I was never getting any needs meet and I would tell him and he would try and meet them for a while but then he would return to taking me for granted. I was not a matter of falling out of love. Along with many financial problems. It was my decision that it was time to let it go. I fought the good fight and lost.but i tried for 4 years . We were married for 15. The last 4 have been very hard. I just had my fill, i had enough. BTW i told him and he was not angry, he did understand which i was relieved for. Hopefully it will all work out for the best

Sounds like a tough spot to find yourself in.

I don't know what vows you made with your H, so I don't know what you've promised to do.

Now you find yourself in an emotional bind and still concerned for him.

I don't know what to say, but I recognize the dillema you find yourself in.

So what would you like to accomplish?
