Has anyone ever read the book? It is very helpful. I am reading it even though I am divorced because I am meeting my ex-husband next week to talk (see thread about confused about my divorce). It is great because there is a chapter about making amends which is what I am trying to do. My ex's sexual addiction to porn and his affair is his responsibility but I was a crappy wife in many ways. There were times when I yelled, put him down and said I hated him, and simply missed the pain he was in because I was self-absorbed or didn't want to see it or just simply missed it! The book talks about how making amends isn't dependent on what the other person thinks of me, but about releasing the guilt and facing it and getting true forgiveness and cleansing the spiritual cup with God. I highly recommend it.

Hey there adgirl! I haven't been to MB in quite some time, but decided to pop by tonight. I was thinking about my exH....had temptations of contacting him, and here you are posting about getting in touch with your exH. How did you decide you wanted to try interacting with him again?

Just curious,

Jen
