Well, we had the MC appointment. I think the counselor, Lorraine, is pretty good. We talked about situation X, and B. gave the usual excuses, doesn't like paper work, lack of time, lack of resources. Lorraine says, "Come on now, B, you're a grown up. You have to take care of this. Not for A, but for you." That was the highlight of the appointment for me. We negoated on Situation X. I didn't get it resolved and wrapped up with a ribbon by March 1. Instead I got all the parts in a paper sack with an appointment scheduled to get it gift wrapped.
Unfortunately, it was not great except for that. Bill accused me of not being open. I told how I was often afraid to stand up to him because he got angry. B. was asked to describe what happened when he got angry. "The pattern has been that I try to talk to A and she won't talk so I get frustrated and start yelling." Once again I get the blame.
In so many ways, it was same old, same old. Not very encouraging. In fact, quite the opposite.

Hey Anne,
I was thinking about you today, and wondering how it went. Sounds like it went pretty much as expected. Since there appears to be no change on B's part, how are you feeling right now? Does it change your feelings about acting on the D? vs. just wanting the D?
Are there plans for another meeting? Or is it back in B's court (ie. when he gets around to making the appt in 3 months <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> ). I just hate to see you in limbo for much longer.
Martes
P.S. Did you ever get the email I sent?

Anne,
I'm not sure whether to say "sorry about this" or "good". It appears to me (as stated by CJ on your other thread) that your husband is just continuing his normal behavior patterns in regards to the way he deals with you. I haven't seen a clear indication (through your eyes) that he remotely "gets it". Without "getting it", it's going to be very difficult for him to make the changes that you need, and to sustain them for the rest of your marriage.

K- does that mean I should go in next week and say the MB reknown K has spoken, and the verdict is divorce? LOL. Just kidding. I see your point. However, it is possible B could "get it" and I just don't realize it.
Martes, no I didn't. Send it to me again. greengablesmb@yahoo.com. My trips up to Virgil are a little weird right now because of Dad's Wife's Son and his friends who are "waking and baking." Therefore, I can't take my kids when her son is there.
We do have another appointment scheduled for next week.

GG,
Sorry MC wasn't a better experience for you this time around. But it doesn't sound like it turned out much different than you expected.
Perhaps out of all of this, situation X will actually get resolved. If so, maybe at least it will be worth while for both you and B.
