that DH has us in deep debt and spent most of the savings. And of course he is not working so I dont know how we are going to make it.
Im shocked, disillusioned. He is supposed to be a Christian man. I dont know what to do. Our marriage was good before this and now all I want to do is run.
We went to a counselor and the counselor thinks we should dig out together. But Im so confused. How do you know when divorce is the option? I love this man and I feel so depressed.

Try doing some research on Financial Peace University. It is a debt-reducing program developed by Dave Ramsey. Includes information on reducing debt, snowballing credit payments, building savings, and living on a cash basis.
Step one would be do a budget
Step two would be cut up every credit card. The goal in FPU is to live credit free except for mortgage. And, ideally, you pay that off.
