Oh, no. Not that.
I finished yesterday after my last day of the last class I needed to fulfill my undergraduate requirements. Yipee. 15 years late, I've done something I never thought I'd do.
I'd like to thank all of you here. If I hadn't addressed my marriage, I would have addressed my relationship with my father, and I wouldn't have decided to leave the family biz, go back to school and find a new job.
When you start taking control over your life, there's no telling where you can go!
Now, on to finding a job.

Champers, naturally.
But, lite beer is equally fine. It sparkles and has hte benefit of being one tenth the cost.

Horrraaaayyyyyyy for ((((GG))))
That’s awesome. You should be extremely proud.
When you and ((Newly)) celebrate, y’all have one on me. Well, not literally on me because well first off, I have a girlfriend, secondly, you might spill it, and third it’s my experience that may lead to a different type of celebrating. On second thought, when y’all go out think of me. Well, maybe not, since I’ve put the thought of having a “drink on meâ€, if you think of me, what would you think….?
How ‘bout this. I’m proud of you and when y’all go out have a great (but safe) time and try not to think of having drinks on me…

Congrats to you!
My son has Asperger's Syndrome and sees an OT. I really admire the hard work that is done by OT's. Because of that, I am taking an interest in OT and looking at the possibility of going back to school for that. I would like to specialize in hippotherapy. Me, that used to teach riding lessons and my passion is horses, what a great combo!
How long did it take?

Thank you all. I really appreciate it. LH, trust me, I won't be thinking of drinking off your body. Unless you resemble a Calvin Klein jeans ad.
Ali, I only had to take 4 classes. I had enough saved to stop working for a few months, so I went full time. It was exhuasting! As a separated Mom, homemaker, freelancer and student, I was overwhelmed. I'd say put your toe in the water with one class. Good luck. I love horses too.

Congratulations....Gives me incentive....I had 15 hours towards my masters...but must start all over again this summer. I need to have my masters within 2 years.
I want to go back...but with the kids and school...the thought of trying to keep up with classes is terrifying.
Congratulations again...Pat

Pat, you can do it. Go slowly, give up so other projects and notify the younger ones they need to do their chores because you've got to study.

Hi GG, I didn't know we had this in common! I had 3 classes to graduate with my Bachelor's degree. I, however, opted for 2 online classes & 1 in an actual classroom.
I'm currently taking my last class, provided I pass, & will recieve my degree in June. I don't know what I'll do, probably substitute teach. What I'd like to do is pottery full time but that simply will not pay my bills.
Good luck with your job search. What field are you looking in?

I'm going to go back into marketing. I was a creative director for direct mail, space ads and email.
Do you have enough room to give after school lessons? Someone around me is doing it and has two afternoons a week booked. I think she does 2D with some 3D thrown in. I live in a rural area, but with horse farms, i.e. some people have gobs of money, but most of us don't.
Anyway, you could do it as an add on to substitute teaching. Kind of like piano lessons.
Good luck with your endevor.

I do teach adults pottery one day a week at our local community center & was trying to arrange another adult ed night class at a high school but only one person signed up. That could be weather related, people not wanting to come out in the snow & ice.
At the community center we offer kid classes & we have a teacher for that. I'd feel like I was competing for students with her & in our small community there just aren't endless numbers of students to go around.
This year I have plans to find more places to sell my work. I'm in one co-op gallery now & have two other venues in mind. They will take lots of prep. & I will have to apply for space but it's the next step to take.
