Am getting ready to go and pick up at fedex my present on Val. Day to ME! Yea, the birthstone ring came in! Whoo hoo...

And heard this song on the way home...another person on gq II posted some thoughts from another song by same group (Papa Roach) and I heard this newer song by them...My old D song was "In the end" by linkin park...now it's this one.

Incidentally, my bp rose last night again after getting call from xh. Son called me to wish me a happy Valentine's day and then xh, aka, jethro, darth vader, got on the line...he at first pretended to say something necessary about son, but then slid in a huge insult on the side...one about being a mom and his perceptions (pure fog and crud).

It did nothing but make me p3ssed off. This song reminds me WHY I had to do what I did. Why I made right choice to d. Not something I wanted to do, but that I did all I could do and am moving' on.

This is a great song when you're at end of rope. Good stress therapy might be singing it loudly in car when you're alone....(too loud for children).

Scars...dedicated to my friends here dealing with issues now where I was 1-2 years ago...however...I don't condone drinking and speaking with a WS.. (two irrational people don't make a right...lol) Just go driving and singing loudly...I'm off to gym. gotta get the BP down.

SCARS..by the band with some member who has serious issues to deal with...Papa Roach!

I tear my heart open, I sew myself shut
My weakness is that I care too much
And my scars remind me that the past is real
I tear my heart open just to feel

I'm Drunk and I'm feeling down
And I just wanna be alone
I'm pissed 'cause you came around
Why don't you just go home?
'Cause I channeled all your pain
And I can't help you fix yourself
You're making me insane
All I can say is...

[Chorus:]
I tear my heart open, I sew myself shut
And my weakness is that I care too much
And our scars remind us that the past is real
I tear my heart open just to feel

I tried to help you once
Against my own advice
I saw you going down
But you never realized
That you're drowning in the water
So I offered you my hand
Compassion's in my nature
Tonight is our last stand

[Chorus]

I'm drunk and I'm feeling down
And I just wanna be alone
You shoulda' never come around
Why don't you just go home?
'Cause you're drowning in the water
And I tried to grab your hand
I left my heart open
But you didn't understand
But you didn't understand

Go fix yourself !!! (screamed for emphasis)

I can't help you fix yourself
But at least I can say I tried
I'm sorry but I gotta move on with my own life
I can't help you fix yourself
But at least I can say I tried
I'm sorry but I gotta move on with my own life

I just got served by TBXWW today. Can I chime in with my own suggestion for a new anthem? Crank it and shout along.

I Love Myself Today
by Bif Naked

You left me like a broken doll
In pieces as I took the fall
For you... you dumb chump
You left me freefalling like space junk
Burning up in the atmosphere of life...

Well I sound like a philosopher
But I'm a fool who's off her rocker
'Cause I let you in my heart that one last time

I've had enough, made up my mind
I'm gonna get up, and out, and WAAAAHHH!

CHORUS
I love myself today, not like yesterday
I'm cool, I'm calm, I'm gonna be okay, uh huh
I love myself today, not like yesterday
Take another look at me now
'Cause it's your last look... your last look forever

Well look at you, you're all puffed up
In your big red truck but you're out of luck.. this time
Well that's tough... cause I'm on fire, too hot to touch
With a chatroom full of lovers on the line

Gonna step right up, spit shine my soul
I'm gonna get proud and loud and out of control

CHORUS

I'm lookin' in the mirror and I like what I see
I've lost the fear and the horror that's been eating at me
'Cause being with you was like a hangman's noose
I was living my life in dead man's shoes

I've had enough, made up my mind
I'm gonna get up, and out, and WAAAAHHH!

CHORUS

I love myself today, not like yesterday
You're dead and gone, I'm gonna get my way
I love myself today, not like yesterday
Take another look at me now
'Cause it's your last look...your last look forever!!
