Just found site and still learning to navigate. Here's my situation:
Me 56
W 56
3 great kids D33, S31, D15.
Married 33 years
W had a spinal cord operation in April. Served D papers in August 04.
I went to C, W went to C, then we went to MC.
My L got an extension that's still in effect.
W has stopped any counseling.
W is in California, I'm in Illinois. Very little contact. Early on I pursued now I've gone dark. I've read over 15 books got to practice some of the techniques like GAL. I'm exercising daily, gave up alcohol for Lent. But I've got to admit, I'm tired of this and Running on Empty. Is there any hope?

I'm asking opions but I get this kind of survey screen asking option 1 and option 2. Is there another area just to post with out a survey?

Whether you get a yes vote or a no vote, won't affect the outcome of your marriage. Why are you living so far apart? It would be easier to work on the marriage if you were in the same zip code.

Bellvue,
I lost my job in California and the only one I could find was in Illinois. My W really stuggled in Michigan and loved California. Our D15 is in high School.I offered to sacrifice and live in Illinois. Seemed to make sense from Dec 2002 until W filed back in August.

Because you need to be close to her, no matter what.
