I'm new. I found out about my H's A 8/04. At that time it had been going on a few months. They are still together currently. I filed for D in Sep. due to his fence sitting. Over the last 6 months he has hurt me emotionally and has been in contempt several times for taking our 2 yr. old around OW. He has also at times done the "I don't know what I'm doing, I'm confused" talk to me. He just returned from a trip w/ her on Thurs. Fri. afternoon I was meeting up w/ him to drop of our son for his visit. On the way, we talked briefly on the phone and he mentioned to me that he wasn't sure if this D was what he really wanted. He asked if there was too much damage. I just told him I didn't believe in D and that I felt he didn't give our M a chance. We left it at that and it was never mentioned again. The next day he came to pick up our son and I later found out he did it again, took our son around her and her kids all day! We just went to court for this in Jan. for contempt and he's doing it again!! Why? Why? Why? I can't take this anymore. I don't know why he's doing this.

Welcome to marriagebuilders. It is a GREAT place to be under the circumstances. Your husband's behavior is puzzling to you, but most people here can relate. His behavior is very typical. He will continue to act like an addict, so don't be too surprised. You will need to be the strong one, and it seems like you are doing the right thing by protecting your child from his madness.

Stick with us, and we will help you sort this out.
