Question:
What causes physically/sexually healthy husbands to want to masturbate? Men that do not look at pornography or fantasize about other women.
Men who dream about their wives.
Is it loneliness? Insecurities? Low self esteem? Some other type of coping mechanism?
Curious.

The issue of masturbation is unique to the individual but it always works to bring someone out of doing it by using a caring, gentle, loving spouse to approach the other and form no judgements but always interest in what those needs are. Whether they be an issue of not wanting to get pregnant to the feeling seems better. Regardless of the motives they are redeemable when the approaching partner can assume a loving attitude. Attitude is EVERYTHING
and should be an interest in giving of yourself and forming NO judgements. If you truly are interested in the others welfare and betterment then they will sense that and you will have another level of intimacy to share.
