I generally post over on the EN Board - Most of you know me as seekingjoy/Jan. Please read this and help me if you can.

A friend lost his sister Sunday evening - a nephew and he and his sister are the only family they have left. He's in Pecos Texas working very hard to support himself and an older sister who has no income, and can't get home to Alamosa Colorado for the funeral. He can get one day off work - Thursday/Tomorrow. I thought about a private plane to get him home - and I know - private pilots often fly with no reason, just cuz they like to fly. Small airports on both ends - if anyone knows of a private pilot who would be interested in flying him from Pecos to Alamosa and back to Pecos a few hours later... Please contact me here or by emial: seekingjoy@msn.com

Those who don't have an answer - please pray - this family is very small and getting smaller. No family often means no connection. None of those left are married or ever have been. Long story - but loneliness has been a part of their lifestyle for many years, and they are very nice people, very much convinced they live in a world that doesn't care. They have little faith.

Please help me - help them.

How sad, I will pray for this family, and I will pray that you may show them the love of Christ through this time, there are so many people in sad situations this time of year,
Lord I pray that you will surround this small family with your family, may there be many people who will come forward to show your love to them.
Lord may there be some way for this young man to get to his sisters funeral. I pray that you will bring this family closer to You Lord. I pray for Jan, to be able to help this family and show them they are not alone. Give them hope and a future Lord, I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
Love in Christ, SW
