Hello I have found that getting help for Aspergers marriage to be very difficult. We have our own set of unsual circumstances etc.. Anyone here married to an Aspie? The web has tons of support for Aspies but not the spouse. This condition puts a lot of strain on the NT (neuro typical) spouse etc...In some areas you play more of a caregiver, mentor role etc... Anyway if anyone is in this situation, please let me know <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

I wonder if I am my H is 'Aspie'. I could do a search, but what have you found helpful?
He also may be ADD. Takes a med that helps some clear some fog, but from what little I have read, there may be some thing else at work here.

Likes to laugh thanks for your replay. Have you read about Aspergers? I was warned about a few little things before marriage but they were never "labeled" as anything. Then my son was born with some issues. I read up on autisma nd aspergers for a few years and knew in my heart. The now its official. The thing is appie marriages dont really deal with typical marital issus so its hard to find info. Its really a whole other ball game. If you suspect AS there are tons of places on the web to help you and there are some great books. There are also a few aspies who married each other then wrote books on the topic. Its the NT married to the AS im interetsed in LOL. Maybe I will write a book some day since I cant seem to find one LOL
