i am so frustrated right now. we just got a letter from the court today stating that we are in default because we didn't respond to the complaint. that is so ridiculous. our lawyer drew up the papers and my husband took them to the court himself. the county's stupid website with all the court cases even shows that, and that we have a lawyer. the papers we got today said that the papers were sent to us because no record of lawyer on file. i don't know why we didn't get this yesterday when i could actually do something about it. now i must wait till monday. i am so mad. i don't know what to do. why did they put us in default when we did what we were supposed to. i don't get it. <P>i know we just have to take the papers to court to prove we filed them and they are just stupid. but what if the lawyer filed the wrong papers?? eek!<P>well, just had to vent. i was mad and didn't want to stress the hubby before bed. we have been doing so well lately, i didn't want to vent with him when it is not his fault. not that it is your guys' fault. he he. but you know what i mean.<P>talk to ya'll later. hope you are having a good weekend.<P>happy_girl

Happy girl,<P>Welcome to the court system. Last week we finally called our appeal off after five months of racking up back pay and late fees. We figured we wouldn't do much better than what we have. So guess what shows up two days after we stop the appeal? The paperwork for our appeal hearing. So after five months they scheduled us for next month on the 20th. What a waste of time. We also filed papers, and they wrote to us to tell us we were in trouble. After they looked around they found our papers. <P>The court system can be very frustrating. I also learned that they report to the OW anytime anything happens, we of course have to wait. Don't worry your lawyer will take care of it. Keep you spirits up, and come here anytime to vent. <P>babstr.

well, the court told me we can't go to them directly if we have a lawyer that we have to go thru the lawyer. so i turned it over to my H. it is his mess, he can call the lawyer and fix it. i am just grumpy because we are fighting right now. but let him deal with it once in awhile. i deal with it emotionally everyday and he seems to be fine. why is that? i constantly think of it and he seems as if nothing is wrong in life. i get confused. are all men this way? anyway, thanks!!<P>happy_girl
