Steve...Whew. That is the good news I would like to get. <P>Right now my husband is ordered to pay about 55% of his gross salary to the OW. Of course we can't, don't, won't do this. We are forced to divorce and file bankruptcy so he can fly to NY with divorce and bankruptcy papers in hand and appeal to the courts to reduce the amount to something more fair and reasonable...like the 17% mandated by NY law.<P>Congratulations on your legal-ease...<P>Catnip =^^=

I was wondering how in the heck you ended up paying so little (by most standards) in child support? I'm wondering because my H is up for child support soon and I'm terrified of what they are going to make him pay. Do they go by our COMBINED income?
