Hi today is our 4th wedding anniversary. Feeling kinda sad...not even too sure why. We are getting along really well and have been for 6-8 months. Why do I feel sad? I guess this should be normal, but it isnt logical bc we are in love again.
uuuhhhhh....so sad [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

Cheer up Girlie! You dont have any OW/OC issues right now! I guess on our anniversarys we tend to look back over the past year at how our life HAS been going.. Maybe thats why you are feeling a little blue. Just remember, your H is with YOU now. Not HER. He made a mistake, (granted a huge one, but still a mistake) he is human, most humans do make mistakes. The OW/OC live in totally different states, so you dont even have to worry about running into her by mistake.
You know your H loves you.
You know you love your H.
Whats the deal???
Go buy a cake, some liquor, and get a babysitter girl!!!
You should be celebrating if nothing else that your love for each other was strong enough to withstand all this mess.
BTW: It probably wouldnt hurt to pick up some sexy lingere while you are out!!!
Smile!!!

broken,
I'm sorry I'm a little late on wishing you a happy anniversary. But I wish you it all the same! I totally agree with littlebird...celebrate! You're both still together and in love. That alone is reason to celebrate. It doesn't excuse what he's done. But you two have weathered the storm together and still together. Never forget, but at some point you have to move forward. Let this be the beginning. Hope your anniversary was a good one. I've thought through all this mess that at some point, when things have settled a bit (after court date next month), that I'd like for my H and I to "renew" our wedding vows as a symbol or recommittment to each other. I think I'm going to do just that. It's ok to feel sad some days, I know I do. It keeps creeping into your every thought. But I have to keep reminding myself that I initially went through all this mess almost 5 years ago when I first discovered the betrayal. This new stuff about the paternity suite is new so I'm dealing with that. I made it through once and I'll make it through this time too. But make no mistake, I'm still very angry and disappointed at my H and I know (and so does he) that it will take time to get over that. So, I've decided to let my emotions go where they will and embrace myself in whatever I'm feeling that day and allow myself to feel it and then move on. If you're feeling sad, then it's ok. You'll feel better on another day.
Comfort

Comfort...thank you. Our anniversary kinda just came and went. He got off work late and I was late getting to work. I managed to get off early and went by and got a bottle of champagne. Got home and he was asleep [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]. He heard me and woke up...we drank the bubbly and went staight to sleep. But at least we saw each other on this anniversary. It is the 1st one where weve even been together for 60 seconds. We are also planning to renew our vowels on our next anniversary.
Thank you for your sweet words...God Bless

Brokenwing:
And your consonants!
Hey, Happy Anniversary, Kid. I know that anniversaries are hard now because of our situations. But, you can make it a new beginning.
Saran wrap and whipping cream has always been an anniversary favorite of mine...it doesn't require a great deal of preparation, no planning is invovled and since time is an issue; hey, everything will probably be over in minutes anyway...meow.
Just let him know how much you love him.
Catnip =^^=
