I have been married w/my husband for 3yrs.I have stages of mood swings. And my husband doen't understand this in a woman. He gets frustrated w/me because when I have my moods, he says I rub the moods on him, then he gets moody w/me. HE doesn't understand when I tell him that, when I am quite, not to get it personal, that I just want to be quite. But, one thing I loved from him that he did once, is when I has in those moods one day, he approched me without hesitating and he hugged me and that felt me feel so secure. He made me feel that he cared about what I was going through that day and I needed a hug. I told him this, but doesn't understand that need. I have accomplished satisfying all his needs, and just for this one, he doens't understand me. Am I wrong in having this mood swings, is it me or this are types of hormones women have? Is it also, wrong in asking for some tender from him if I am in moody days?

Hi Vic: I don't experience big mood swings but I would agree with you that if you have these, a big hug helps. Have you gone to the doc to find out if you have PMS? There is lots of information available about how to treat it - check your bookstores, web, etc.

I do believe that men have a hard time understanding women's moods as guys are not affected by hormones the way we are.

Be careful not to LB when you have these times. It could push your H away. Always best to talk these things out. Hope you get some more help from others here.
