Ladies & Men here-
I was lurking on TOW (I have NEVER posted there though...) and I noticed a post by
someone named September at home. Normally I wouldn't post anything but this is important...
Basically, she was stating about a celebrity movement happening in order to raise awareness about breast cancer. I guess some celebs are walking around with cellular phones asking people to call loved ones and encourage them to go for a breast exam..
I am a breast cancer survivor myself. Personally, I would place bets that just about everyone here has been affected by breast cancer in one form or another.
So, do yourself a favor and your loved ones a favor. Get a breast exam and encourage your loved ones to do the same.....
O.K/ I am done preaching. I hope everyone here is doing well. I'll post more soon. Take care.

Duranie,
September is an OW who has had a long time on going affair, she has also had two children with a MM over a period of years. She has also had some problems with cancer.
Sshe used to post as Mom2J&M or M&J, I forget which. She always puts at home because someone let her work know she was spending work time posting on TOW.
I am glad to see she is posting something besides how insane the MM's wife is. I would be insane too if I had to deal with what that W has.
I am glad to see people being made aware of breast cancer and aqgree with you that we all need to be checked, men included. Yes gents, you can get breast cancer too.
------------------
Deb
Hepatitis C, Please educate yourself ! <A HREF="http://www.hepatitis-central.com/
In" TARGET=_blank>http://www.hepatitis-central.com/
In memory of a very dear friend http://fathom.org/teemingmillions/wally.adp

Thanks, Duranie, for the heads up on this. I had a mammography last week because I was absolutely sure I had a lump. I had the mammogram, then ultrasound, then another bunch of special pictures, then the doctor cheked me...nothing, nada, zip. I was surprised (and relieved) because I have felt something weird in this one spot for years. I have never dsaid anything because I was too stupid and too paranoid to mention it...kind of like saying so would make it real...so I would go in every year and get checked, get the mammogram and wait for the axe to fall...always, nothing.
This time was weird because I didn't care anymore. I figured it would be par for the course to come down with a debilitating illness on top of all this other mayhem. So, I explained all the symptoms and all the precautionary tests were done with no negative results.
I told the doctor about this one spot on the inside of my right breast that felt 'hot' inside and caused some sharp pains occasionally. He asked how long I've been experiecing said discomfort. I told him about three years. He raised his eyebrows and scowled at me and explained that what I was feeling was a blood vessel. Whew.

Bozos Deb: How nice to have you visiting and lurking here. I keep up with your story every week or so on GQ to see how it's going. Sounds like you and Mike have come to terms about his web addictions and parking lot lady. I hope your health issues are settling down for you so you can be more active. You have become an oldtimer like me...Take care, Deb.
Catnip =^^=

Catnip,
I've been following your posts, just haven't posted anything. I want you to know how proud I am of you for standing up to ow ! Yeah it seems that Mike and I have things worked out for the moment at least. I try to take each day as it comes now.
As for treatment, ugh !! Enough said.
------------------
Deb
Hepatitis C, Please educate yourself ! <A HREF="http://www.hepatitis-central.com/
In" TARGET=_blank>http://www.hepatitis-central.com/
In memory of a very dear friend http://fathom.org/teemingmillions/wally.adp

Deb:
It's weird. We've both been on the forum forever and kept up with each other's lives but have never really posted to each other.
I find there are several members here that I tend to keep up with but never communicate with simply because of time restrictions. Yet, I have developed a familiarity and a concern for their well-being.
I'm glad you lurk here, Deb. I pray for your recovery.
Catnip =^^=
