I politely offer that this site is just that: about saving marriages, and this particular board about dealing with a pregnancy or child who results from the affair, STILL as a sub-topic of saving the marriage.
I find it strange that single women pregnant by a married man should look for parenting support HERE of all places. There are lots of women raising children alone for a variety of reasons, and surely they have more to offer you than betrayed wives who are dealing with very different issues, unless you have a question specifically related to the adulterous aspect of your situation.
For the XOWomen posting or lurking who KNOW the W here, you've got NO business in the middle of that marriage's recovery. The idea that 'our' XOW might be around here makes me feel ill, and I don't know if I'll post again.
Thank you,
Jenny

Dear Jenny,
I agree that this MB site is about saving marriages and the Harleys' work is centered on salvaging as many marriages as possible.
When I first came upon this MB site, I was initially surprised that OP who post are treated with respect and not the condemn that OW treats the wives at TOW board. I was already hesistant that the chinless banshee would be lurking or even posting here. But I believe that God led me to this site to share and get some advice and understanding about my plight. I also tried in the process to offer my heartfelt suggestions and prayers as often as I can.
But I am deeply saddened at the mockery in recent posts, a mockery of the betrayed wives' right to solace and dignity in the rebuilding of the sanctity of the marriage that was destroyed. Yes OW have their rights, their right to cling to the belief that the world revolves around their getting what they want, irrespective of how much hurt they continue to dispense in the process.
But I hope those betrayed wives who feel that their XOW are lurking here and eating their hearts out at your undeserved anguish, care not for Our Father in Heaven cares for the cries of his little lost and humble sheep. On earth, the prince of darkness has dominion and this is the place for his followers to run rampant. Let them laugh, mock, insult, covet...we tried to tell them it is wrong and has already bared our souls how it is like to be thus wronged; if they care not, it is not our job anymore.
weep

Jenny: I HAD to come back just one more time before I take a "break" from here. I'm glad I did because I would have missed your post. Jenny, You're so right when you say this site is for rebuilding and saving marriages. And, like you, I agree...I don't understand why single women pregnanted by married men would come here looking for support. It doesn't make sense to me. And once again, I totally agree with you when you say that the OW has NO BUSINESS in trying to "help" restore MM/W marriage. That is adding insult to injury. I, too, would feel disgusted and nauseated if I had any idea that OW in my case was on this site reading anything I had to say. I would NEVER want her to know anymore about me than she may already know. It's been a nightmare already.
Weep: Like you, I also know that God led me to this site for advise, to share what I have learned and offer whatever I can to help others as I've been helped. God has many tools here on earth to help us. I truely believe that MB is a tool of His and his intention is to bring us together to help each other through this. I can't even remember how I found this site...but here I am and I'm so very grateful for all that I have learned here and if I've helped anyone in any way, then that is all the better. You're so right when you talk about the mockery in many of the posts from these OW. It's more than I'm willing to deal with. We've ALL (W) have already had so much to contend with.
Heavenly: Thank you for your caring post under your topic. I did "peep" in again today and glad I did so I didn't miss it. You also have been so warm, sharing and unselfish in sharing your experiences and offering good advise to myself and others. You're very special and I'm happy that I had the opportunity to meet you and so many others on here. You are right...this place should be a "safe haven" to come to for support and comraderie (sp). I've felt like it has been for the time I've been here. But not of late...not at all. Thank you for all you've helped me through. I'm happy to know that I've have been of help to you also. It's all about sharing and helping each other. That's the way God wants it. It still amazes me to see how we all started here as strangers...not knowing what race the other is, what religion, how old...not mattering what part of the country each other is in. None of that matters. Because the really important stuff goes on inside...the heart. Doesn't matter what race, color, creed, etc...because the heart is one color and it feels pain no matter what the outside looks like. That make me proud to be a human being and even prouder to have been a part of this site.
Catnip, Sweetpea, BrokenWing, Happy_Girl, Duranie and all the others...you KNOW who you are:
You're all special women and I'm so glad I've had the priveledge of finding this place and meeting you all. Even though the circumstances have been so sad, the experience has truely been spiritually uplifing for me and has helped me so very much. You've all been wonderful and I'll continue to keep you all in my prayers daily. I'm taking a "break" from this board for a while. I've got enough negativity going on my life that I'm trying to get rid of because of this nightmare (like we all have). this place was like a support group...honest, open, without being confrontational and argumentative. That has recently changed. I'll come back later. Thank you all for all the love and support you've shown me. I could NEVER have made it through all of this without you all. God bless you all.

------------------
Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending...
