Hello everyone,
I finally moved. I have been away for a while because of the move and getting from one state to another. My mind is fighting with all of the emotions that I am going through. Sadness at leaving my home, family, and friends. And sadness because of why we had to move. If this hadn't happened I would be in my old home going through life happily. Now I have had to change everything because my H couldn't control himself. It just burns me up, especially now. We are pretty disconnected right now because he was here for a month before I got here. I am once again having daily migraines, and am having trouble getting motivated to unpack and start a new life in a new area. I still wake up thinking that I am in a dream. I keep waking up thinking I should be in my old bedroom. My support group is gone. Sorry I am so blah, I hope everyone is doing ok. Sorry I have been out of touch. Will try to do better between unpacking.
babstr.

Moving is a tramatic event, especially when you lose the support you have had. I found that my last move really disoriented me for several months. New doctors, new schools, new dentists, new banks, etc. And then I missed my church & my routines SO MUCH. Even where to buy groceries was another decision to make.
Don't push yourself too hard on the unpacking & all that work. Maybe take some time to go out & visit parks and do the fun stuff. Treat yourself a little. I am sure you need it right now. I don't have migraines, but could only imagine going through that on top of everything else! I wish I could send you a care package!
Take care... Carolyn

Babstr:
I'm so glad you're back on board. You have been missed!
With all the new changes in your life, I know you feel overwhelmed and lonely. I hope you will use us and this fourm as a way to connect with people who care for you and about you to ease some of the distance you feel with your friends and family.
In six months time, you can let us know whether or not this move was for the best or not. Perhaps by then you'll be telling us of the wonderful new friends you have made and how great your kids are doing and how close and loving your marriage has become. I am praying for you that at least some of these things will come to pass for you.
Unpack your boxes, crank up the stereo and dance with your kids. That's what I did with my kids when we moved. We looked like a bunch of idiots but we had fun and their sour faces turned to smiles.
Catnip =^^=
