Well, he arrived on November 8,2000! And couldn't wait to get here. I had a doctors appointment at 4:00 an Wed nite and he said all was good, he would see me on Fri and decide when to induce labor (Sat. I would have been 2 weeks overdue.) Wed. evening at 9:45 I started labor immediately with contractions 3 min apart, got to the hospital(we live a half an hour away) at 10:50pm and he arrived at 11:23!! Also, I am a small framed person and pretty much on the thin side, and he was 9 lbs. 6 oz.!!!! He is home now, doing well and so far a great baby.
I want to thank everyone for their help and support in all this. Right now we are so busy with everything that we have put all other issues aside, and just enjoying the moment. I will post more on how I'm feeling later. I just wanted to let everyone know the news, and thank you all....

NGU!!! Welcome to your new son...what's his name??? Congratulations, NGU, to you and your husband. I am thrilled for you and your little one...you are in my prayers. God bless and protect you both.
Isn't it wonderful how the issues can be put on the back burner when something so wonderful has come into your lives? Make the most of it, NGU...make the most of it. Use this opportunity to bond this child to you and to your husband and you and your husband to each other.
Catnip =^^=
[This message has been edited by catnip (edited November 12, 2000).]

Congradulations!!! We are so happy that your son finally arrived. Being of small frame, I know exactly how you feel having a 9 lb baby. Our daughter was 9 lb 8 oz. Just take it easy and enjoy this precious gift to you and your husband. Like Catnip said, let him bring you and your husband closer, and put the other on the back burner for now.
Congrats again, and God bless the little one and the rest of your family.
Tigger

Congrats to you and your new son. My Mother always says "Babies are such a nice way to start people" and I agree. Good luck and I hope he knows how lucky he is to have such a strong and loving mother.
Ladygirl
