Hi everyone,
I have not been able to keep up with all of your stories for the past two weeks since I have been very busy and could only check in occasionally.
But, as the season of sharing and caring is upon us, I wanted to take a moment and wish each and every one of the members of this group -- active and lurking -- a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving.
At this time of the year, I hope that we can all put our troubles and worries aside for a while and concentrate on the things that give us great joy and count the many blessings we have around us. There are so many simple pleasures like a beautiful sunset or a brand-new peaceful snow fall -- I hope that we can all find some peace to enjoy the things that we love best.
A side benefit of the holidays is that those feelings of love for our spouses and families seem to strengthen and bond us together closer and tighter. I am praying that will happen for us all and that we will be able to go into the new year in two months with a stronger grasp on what is truly important in life -- marriage, commitment, family.
God bless you all and thank you all for being my beacon in the night and keeping me on course whenever I get lost and have trouble finding my way. Although we have never met, I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that each of you and the advice and support you give means as much, if not more, to me than most of the family and friends that I see on a daily basis.
Happy Thanksgiving!
- Heavenly

Sometimes it is hard to be grateful in light of the seriousness of our situations. However, if there is a blessing to all of this, it is that we were all brought together by a common bond. We found out we are not alone.
Heavenly, you tear me up and touch my heart. You're right. We become to each other what close friends and family could never be, simply because they couldn't possibly know our hearts the way we do.
Thanks for adding so much to our own private oasis, reminding us that we still have blessing to count on this very special day.
Catnip =^^=

Happy Thanksgiving to all!! I'm spending a nice quiet day with my H and children and I'm loving it! I hope each of you are among love ones and feeling the blessings that we all have ... not just today, but everyday! Added to my already long list of things to be grateful and thankful about is finding you all here to help and support me throughout all of this. I KNOW I couldn't have made it this far without the love and support you all have shown me. From the bottom of my, I thank you all and I wish you all the happiness and love you deserve. It never seizes to amaze me that once we let God into our hearts and learn to trust Him, how things truely do fall into place. We truely realize what's important and what isn't. Everything that we've all gone through over the past months with our WS is important and has been painful. But you know what? We're all still here...we're surviving it!! Damn we're some strong and resilient women..and men! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Love and blessings to you all on this Thanksgiving Day..and all the days to follow.
Comfort
------------------
Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending...

It's been a long time since I posted here. I'm sad today. I thought I would have a family Thanksgiving, but the OW was vacationing in my town with her new husband and asked if my H wanted his OC over Thanksgiving. I discovered the existence of the OC on June 7, 1999. If I don't allow contact with the OC our marriage is definitely over. Not fair, but my reality. Be thankful, for those of you, who have spouses that are content not having contact with the OC. My H loves his daughter with all his heart. Enough to possibly destroy our marriage in the long run.
The bright side is I'm a Christian and my faith has grown astronomically. Just wish it hadn't taken such a disaster to make it so.
