I was reading through some threads here.
Can I sue OW? I am telling you I have told my sister that never believing something like that could be done.
I do know ow helped my H out financially a few times and he paid her back.
She's "loaded".Has private showings at designer stores for each upcoming season. Too bad they don't have maternity designer wear!I used to be amazed at the $ she spent. Trust fund.
Anyway, can I sue for integrity lost in family or anything? I'm serious now.
Let me know. check in later on..... Debi
------------------
Imagine....

From what most attorneys I have spoken to have told me, the Alienation of Affection laws have either been watered down or taken off the books in most states.
When I began my search for an attorney, I was told that NY was too liberal a state in which to prevail. Another suggested since half of the affair occurred in Texas, I find an attorney there and check out that states laws and statutes.
I got on the Internet and began scrolling down a list of Texas attorneys. I got bored starting at "A" and thought I may be missing someone good by not checking the middle or the end of the list. I went to the bottom and worked my way up. When I got to "W", someone's name stood out, can't say why, and gave him a call.
He was extremely receptive to my request. He informed me that the AOA laws were tough, but suggested I sue OW for Personal Injury and began a lawsuit against OW. Since he wants to set a precedence, he is willing to do this on a contingent basis, knowing full well OW has no money. He's doing this for the principle of it all.
While I know I am extremely fortunate to have found such an attorney, I know there are others out there who might be interested in doing the same.
Start searching for an attorney in your state or the state where the affair occurred and begin making phone calls. You might find one willing to take your case.
I know I won't get any money from OW...in fact, I don't want her money. I want to make a point.
Catnip =^^=
