At first I didn't really think about it, but I KNEW my reason for choosing btdt wasn't because I am such a know it all out here to tell everyone. It mostly had to do with identifying with the pain and devastation affairs cause, esp. when there is an OC. It had a negative connotation rather than a positive, self-confident connotation. It was more of a promise to myself to have compassion and not to judge.
I have sown in tears and continue to reap in joy on many levels. It's all progressive. And life can only get so low, pretty soon we're at the very bottom of the pit and there is only one way to go--& that's up! Keep looking up!
p.s.Oh and ember, God is going to fan that flame, I just know it! You're going to have to change your name to HunkABurninLove! If you have survived this much, you can survive anything. I'm praying for your marriage.
[This message has been edited by BINthereDUNthat (edited July 23, 2001).]

I picked my name because even before D-day people who knew my husband and would meet me for the first time would jokingly say "you must be a saint". My H has always been a little hard to take at times. After all this and my decision to stay, I decided to accept my fate and recognize that I must be tryin 4 it! I am not even Catholic. Do other religions have saints????

I picked my name 'cause it's right between "J" and "L"---and it never hurts to be associated with JL around here...
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
