Hey, I was just listening to my Faith Hill CD, and this last song's chorus and second verse really hit me. I probably shouldn't but this is what it says:
"There's another place where our Father waits
and every tear He'll wipe away
The darkness will be gone
The weak shall be strong
Hold on to your faith
There will come a day.
Wars are raging
Lives are scattered
Innocence is lost
Hopes are shattered
The old are forgotten
Children are forsaken
In this world we're living in is there anything sacred?"
It makes you think, you know that there will come a day, where those who have done us wrong, and have not repented for their sins, their day will come. Also, our day will come as well, and if we have forgiven, our reward will be 10 times greater! I know it is hard to think of forgiving something as severe as what has been done to most of us, and in most cases worse than that, but think of what we can do with our lives if we do forgive. I know that I have a hard time forgiving one woman in particular, due to the fact that my H and she wanted to have us be friends. It makes me sick every time I think of when we had spent time with her and her H at the club, going to the beach, or having a bar-b-que! Remembering her being so upset last year when she missed the ship leaving, and saying that she had wanted to "say good-bye to her little brother"!!! When you guys talk about the OW persuing your H, I know exactly how it feels, as this is exactly what happened here. As soon as my H was gone, I hardly ever heard from this supposed friend! So, I understand the difficulties in forgiving the OW, cause I am still having a hard time with my own forgivness. I often wish that I would run into her at the base, just to tell her exactly what I think of her, but then I think of what I, myself, have done, and know that I was just as wrong. There is the forgivness that I need to show to both myself and this woman.
Sorry, I didn't mean to get into all that. It just started coming out of my fingers and I couldn't stop it. I better go now before I go into it somemore, and the kids ask why I'm crying.
Tigger

Funny you should say that Tigger. Everyday in church when we say the "Our Father" and get to the line "as we forgive those who tresspass against us, and lead us not into temptation" I choke up.
I ask for the power to forgive her and can't seem at this time to find it in my heart.
Maybe someday.....
Debi
------------------
Imagine....

tigger4jdt,
Thank you, dont ever think you probley shouldn't say what you feel thats what this place is all about. I liked what you had to say. I still have not reached the forgiveness yet but I am working on it. Maybe some day I will be there. With love flowerseed
