He called last night at 10:30 his time. He wanted toknow how things are. He could sense the aggravation is my voice.I asked him why he ddin't call earlier.he said he'd been at the conference all day. He was going to go and get something to eat. He gave me the hotel number where he was staying but said he was going to leave early for the conference. We chatted briefly and hung up. About 5 minutes late I called him back he answered ,but souded annoyed.Hr didn't like the fact that I was checking on him. He said fine,I will just fly home tomorrow and never go anywhere again. His typical childish answer.I told him that i was feeling upset about the entire trip and I just wanted to talk.He said fine I won't eat today. So, things eneded on a bad note. I f someone is there with him, she isn't staying with him. Also I calle dthe ow's place odf employment and she was there yesterday, so I can rule her out.Am I going crazy?

I'd probably be feeling the same way if I were you, so I don't think that you are crazy. I do think that it was a little rude the way that he brushed you off.

You are not crazy at all....you don't trust your husband and you are scared to get hurt again. I would have called him as well just to make sure. That is why rebuilding is so hard because you do feel like you are off your rocker. I do think your H could have been a little more understanding as to why you called him back so quickly.

Dear blue,
No you are not crazy - everybody gets a little paranoid after something like this. after four years, I still secretly watch the clock to make sure h comes home exactly on time from work. and he doesn't ever go anywhere without me - his choice - but I still worry about things sometimes. It's not that I don't trust my h, it's that I don't trust women anymore not to hit on him. Sounds nuts, but that's the way it is.
You said before that your h is from a different culture. I was just curious as to what culture that is.
Anyway, don't feel like you are crazy for being paranoid - it's perfectly normal.
cdcollins

CD, my husband is from a big Eastern European city. His culture is very different from ours. We have been married for almost 13 years. His father was quite the womanizer in his day. Also his brother has had numerous affairs. My husband hasn't had numerous affairs, but this one while we were separated has been more than enough. He has only called once since he has been out of tow. He left Monday morning and will return on Friday evening. I am suspicious and angry now. Maybe he's meeting someone else up there, I don't know. I shudder to think that since he seems to have changed so much in the last 9 months. I twould be pure heartlessness and would prove to me that he is a lost soul.
