I just found out that ow did not comply with the order to send in the modification fee and the mediation questionairre. She is going to be held in contempt of court. Her contempt hearing will take place on April 30th. Apparantly the judge in that county does not look favorably upon those in contempt. Our lawyer said that it is the best thing that could happen for us.<P>I asked our lawyer why in the world she would ignore the order knowing full well that she'd be held in contempt. It said right on it that failure to comply would be prosecuted as contempt of court. He said that ow thinks she is above the law. And that judge is going to reduce her to rubble over this. <P>Thinking about going to the contempt hearing - it's open court - and just watching for the fun of it.<P>hahahahahahaha!<BR>cd<BR>

Wonderful news cdcollins! Boy, we find humor in ANYTHING don't we? I know I do! The day I was told of OW/OC/A...my first response, after literally going into shock...after H asked me, "What should I do?"... I said, "Well, I think getting a vasectomy would be in order." Then I laughed so hard I cried! Keep in mind, I was told in the middle of a restaurant, on my lunch hour from work! In hindsight, this is QUITE funny! I say go watch the festivities and laugh to your hearts desire!!! We would all go with you if we could!!!

Great News CD!!!!!!! Here's an idea, go to one of those Private I shops and get one of those mini cameras, tape the hearing, and then get it on the computer and email it to all of us. We could use a laugh too!!!<P>Love,<P>Tigger

yeah!! i have been checking the court website for us, and OW hasn't filed her financial affidavit. i am sure my luck isn't as good as yours, the state was probably waiting till we filed H's. but, i feel better knowing someone is having a triumphant moment! go to court!! then you can tell us all about it, we can celebrate vicariously through you!<P>happy_girl
