Well, nothing has been finalized yet. The cs official was dumbfounded at the amount ow has been getting and says that it definitely is going to be reduced dramatically. But upon looking at my h's pay average from the last 6 months, he says that my claim has to be reduced as well. So they are setting up a hearing with me to do that. both claims will be reduced in proportion so that all five children (oc and my four boys) will get the same amount of money. I am not sure yet how my spousal support will factor into it. But anyway you look at it, they can only take 55% of h's pay, and at the most ow will get 1/5 of that, so her "take" is going to be far far less than what it was. I don't have an actual number yet - and won't get one until my hearing - but it looks like great news so far. and her reduction will still go back retroactively to the date h filed for it.<P>So, we definitely had a victory - we just don't know yet how much of a victory it will be. Anyway you look at it, though, ow is going to be seriously ticked off because she's only going to get a fraction of what she had been getting.<P>Thanks, everybody, for your support, thoughts, and prayers!<BR>cd
