I got the mail today and there was a letter from our attorney. Thinking it was his bill or something along that matter, I opened it. It was a copy of a letter that he sent to another attorney asking for advice on our case. It so happens that OW called his office Friday (after we retained him) to schedule a FOLLOW UP appointment. She had been in there in Oct for advice and was now wanting a consult. UGH!!!! He told her that he couldn't see her. I am really wondering what she is up to now. Does she want more than the $525.00 a month we are fixing to be paying her? H's cousin probably told her what we are up to-MIL told everyone in the family. When does this crap ever end? I passed her on the road on my way to get my son from daycare. She stared right at me, so I did the mature thing and STUCK MY TOUNGE OUT AT HER :P HAHA
[This message has been edited by Jessry (edited May 04, 2001).]
[This message has been edited by Jessry (edited May 04, 2001).]

Dear Jessry,
How bizarre that ow went to see YOUR lawyer. Is she just stupid or what?
I would love for our ow to try and consult with our lawyer. He'd run her out on a rail.
-cd

Dear Jessry
If sticking your tongue out made YOU feel better than good for you!!! Who cares if it was mature or not.
I have learned that in playing this game that you do WHATEVER it takes to feel good, and to heck with what anyone else thinks.
I personally have a Winnie the Pooh coloring book and a big box of crayolas!! When I need to cheer up I go and color myself a Pooh picture! Regression to childhood, you bet, but it makes me feel better and that is what counts!
I don't know your history but it sounds as if you live in a small town where everyone knows everyone else's business.
Why would a family memeber be sharing info with the OW??
Or did I read that wrong?
Do you trust your attorney and feel secure that he will do the best job possible for you??
I have trouble trusting ANYONE anymore.
I live by the "don't tell me...show me!" rule with just about everyone. Sad Huh?
One of the side affects of betrayal.
To answer your question Freedom, yes I do live in a small city. I saw OW again today. I was a good girl this time and just kept on going. Then called H at work and told him if he smelt something it was just her coming into town. HAHA I'm with you on the "show me". I don't trust people anymore. Especially H's family. I told MIL last night that unless she wants us to quit talking to her that she had better keep quite about all this. His brother is leaving his W (she treats his daughter VERY bad) and we are thinking about getting a place with him so we can get away from his mother.
