My husband is 45, & left 4 months ago saying he did not know what he wanted,or where he was going in his life. i saw all the signs of a mid-life crisis. It has been a emotional rollar coaster since hes left. He is truly depressed about his life. We see each other often,& I have turned our marriage over to God but i would appreciate prayers for reconcilation of our marriage.

Hi Keesley,
I don't have advice for your situation, but I think that you will get a lot more responses if you follow the basic expectations in this forum.

FIRST! Go to New Member Info.

This thread will give you an abundance of information about this web site and how to use it to your benefit.

The polls should not be used to get any feedback other than numbers, so don't ask questions for which you want written answers. Put those questions in your post.

You posted in a forum that gets very little traffic. I think you will be much better off posting in the Emotional Needs forum (minus the poll).

I think the main thing you need to realize is that depression does not just go away. Your husband may need prescription anti-depressants before you see any progress, but most importantly you need professional help from a trained counselor, not a bunch of caring people who post their thoughts and opinions on an Internet forum. This may be a good place for a little moral support and encouragement, but we are not professionals. Visit that link I gave you and I think you'll have a much better feel for what you can gain from this site.

Good luck,
Smile

I recommend you consider the Emotional Needs forum or the General Questions II formum. There is a lot more activity there.
