I just wanted to say how grateful I am for this site. It's become one of my life-lines. I wanted to let you know how much I admire you all. It takes great courage, character, strength, will, determination, and a lot of other stuff to be where we are at, and to want to continue things in our marriages. Hopefully our spouses have also come to that conclusion. We are the best things that have ever happened to them because we have shown them what true love is. It will perservere in the face of great adversity (which you have to admit this special situation is definitely that).
In my heart I believe that God doesn't give us more than we can handle. He gives us trials that can serve to make us stronger. I believe that if we stick with it and work through this difficult situation, our marriage will be much better than before. Someone said in a post that this shows their children that good marriages don't just happen, they have to be worked on/or they are made (whoever said this, please forgive me for botching it up).
We will face many obstacles in our lives, especially in light of what happened with our spouses. It definitely helps that there are men and women out there facing the same struggle who are willing to share their experiences with total strangers. Whether you lnow it or not, you have touched many peoples lives in a positive way. It is comforting to know that I can come here and get support, vent, get advise, or just communicate with others about what is going on without having to worry about any reprecussions. I'd like to thank you for you willingness to post and share.
ivc
