My wife and I have great sex. Sure, there are things in our marriage that we're working on, but sex is not one of them. So how far can a married husband and wife go in the privacy of our home? It's just us and our bodies. No porn or other people. No public nudity. Are toys OK? Anal sex?

I think that what ever the two of you feel comfortable with is ok. We have used toys, oils and lotions. If the two of you are willing to do it, give it a try. The most important thing is that if one of you decides that he or she doesn't like something that that is the end of it, no bringing it up later hoping to change their mind. Have fun.

Yes, good communication is a key. But with a sense of adventure I find it challenging as a Christian to shop for ideas, books, etc. without some degree of guilt/apprehension. I know I should not feel ashamed for buying "The Joy of Sex" or some such book, but it seems that our current Christian culture frowns on this topic. You know, it difficult to buy a book like that without it having some pictures. So should I not buy a "how to" book that has pictures of other women's breasts? But like with any "how to" book, a picture is worth a thousand words. Whew, and try to do a little homework on-line. You have to tip-toe pretty carefully to find good, appropriate content without landing on some porn site. Do you know of any "safe" places to go for ideas, books, toys, etc?

As a Christian, I too sometimes wonder about what other people would consider appropriate. But remember, God is the one who created sex and He did it as a way of letting people enjoy themselves and their spouses. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> As long as you don't have fantasies about hurting your spouse, it should be ok to let your fantisies become realities. As for places to buy toys, I never liked the stores, I felt cheap and dirty in them. If you have ever heard of fun parties which is hosted by a woman for women only, that seemed more suited to me. If you know someone who does these kinds of parties, she might meet with the two of you one day and answer some questions as to what would be the best things for experimenting. If you don't, ask around, alot of the women i know have heard of someone who does them.
