You CHOSE to marry him, you CHOSE to live with him, you CHOSE to start a family with him. By your description he has done nothing worthy of D. Sounds like it's time for you to grow up. What measures have you taken to better the relationship? Have you gone out of your way to meet his EN's? How about SF? You are both so young and it's a shame to break apart this M when you have your whole life ahead of you.

I would encourage you to take a realistic look (using your supreme intellectual prowess) at your goals. Gonna be a career girl with a child or a SAHM? Are you emotionally, spiritually, financially capable of supporting yourself and a child? Are you prepared for the single life as a single parent?

College days are nearly over and it's time to face the real world with the real blessings and obstacles of everyday life. Better to work on changing yourself and improving your M.

Welcome to reality!

Life can be hard and believe me I am sympathetic to that. When life gets hard you buckle down and do the right thing, instead of searching for excuses to validate running away from the relationship.

You didn't answer my questions about his EN's and SF. Are you willing to put forth the effort to salvage this relationship? It's obvious he is in no frame of mind to do it and yes, he needs to be spanked. But, he isn't posting here, you are.

What counseling have you kids received? Have you applied any of the principles found in MB? Running now is not going to give you long-term satisfaction or fulfillment. Neither will the temptation to enter into adultery. I encourage you to apply yourself, in a non-demanding or demeaning way, to be the strong one in the M.

Humble yourself and do the hard work now. You can do it! Others here may entice you to seek "emotional fulfillment" or "live according to your conscience". I prefer to apply tough love.

Do you recall your M vows? Did you mean them when you swore before God and man? There are so many success stories from people on this forum who made the hard CHOICE to do all within their power to save the M. Will you CHOOSE to be one of them?
