Here is what whatif? posted on her other post, will save the time of looking up the other thread...
Also, whatif?~ when you post a reply the way that you usually do, it makes it seem like a quote and i think people might miss your message. try just using the POST REPLY button that is towards the top of the screen next to POST A NEW TOPIC(on the top, above the actual posts). then, you just get a regular reply, and it doesn't look like a quote from someone else with no response. glad the visit went well. you are lucky that OC's mom has her child's best interest at hand.

--------originally posted by whatif?-------
The Oc does have a good sense of family. The ow family is huge and they all live within ten minutes of her, and 15 to 30 from us. So you see there was no way this was ever going to stay hidden or kept a secreat. I now look like the martyr to everyone, my hubby loves me even more and I do have feelings for the OC. We had a visit with the OC today in the park, ow stayed in the backround but was around if oc got scared or anything. MY 7 year old loved playing the big sis and wanted to do everything and my one year old kept trying to keep up with the oc who is a year and a half. It was not as bad as I thought, I think it was killing the OW to see her child as part of MY family but I think she really wants what is best for the OC. This was not a court ordered visitation we don't go to court for a while but we worked out some visits on our own till the court date. i hope all keeps going well. All my hubby can say is how much more he loves me and that I am superwomen and he couldn't wait till tonight when he can make love to the best women he
has ever met.
---------------------------------------------
happy_girl
[This message has been edited by happy_girl (edited June 11, 2001).]

Flowerseed,
I'm confused. Why did you think this was my post???

Ok, now I see what you were talking about. The way whatif somehow makes her resposes apart of someone else's quote.
Just hadn't got that far down the posts yet. But now I'm up to speed.

------------------
Zebra Baby ...
Lord, give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
[This message has been edited by zebrababy (edited June 11, 2001).]

WHAT_IF WINS ANOTHER ONE FOR THE BETRAYED WIVES TEAM. YOU GO GIRL.
Kill 'em with kindness. I love CD's description of acting "too dumb to know any better." I act as if this is a perfectly normal thing to be doing and just leave 'em all wondering, "Is she really that stupid that she doesn't know there is something really messed up about this situation or is she really that gracious?" More flies with honey than vinegar.
It is funny that we can develop feelings for the OC. Yeah, I know that they are innocent in all of this, but I don't have feelings of "beginning love" for all innocent kids in the world. This one is special, she is going to be part of the rest of my life and I am going to be her step-mother. Kind of weird, but I am OK with ambiguity. I sort of like not fitting the everyday mold, doing the out-of-the-ordinary.
Mrs. Job
