I'm not a big gospel music fan. But my H has played this one song over and over again since before D-day. Remember that work-a-holic fog I was in and missed all the signs of the affair? That was one sign that totally blew past me.
But anyway. The song has now became our strength. We listen to it for inspiration. It has a simple verse that hits home for me and I wanted to share.
The song is by Donnie McClurkin. It's a church song he re-did called We Fall Down. It goes like this:
We fall down, but we get up.
For a saint is just a sinner who fell down,
and got up.
It's a beautiful song. And I think my H must have listened to it and stuggled to tell me about OW/OC so many times. Now I feel comfort when I hear it because I know we are all human and in God's eyes, we are good. And he loves us even more when we "get up" and do the right thing.
Just an inspirational moment brought to you by the Zebra who is having a good day by the way! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)

------------------
Zebra Baby ...
Lord, give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Hi Zebra! Those good days are oh so sweet, arent they... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Havent heard the song though. My favorite gospel is "Hi Eyes Are on the Sparrow". Know that one? A friend of mine in college used to sing it all the time and she had such a gorgeous voice..sigh.

Dear Zebra,
Thanks for the inspirational moment. I have not heard that particular song but I will look for it.
Brokenwings, His eye is on the sparrow is a wonderful song -- I cry every time I hear it.
I am a fan of all musice -- I just love it all. I recently heard one by a group called Mary,Mary and these words grabbed me:
"I don't believe He brought me this far to leave me".
That is the way I look at my relationship with God. Whenever things get rough I think about all of the tight spots that He has brought me through. And, if He has brought me this far, I don't think He is going to leave me now. We may not always understand the plan but we have to trust in Him and play along.
Keep those inspirational moments coming -- we need them...
love,
heavenly
