Dear tigger, gem, gabi, fluke and everyone,<P>It was so wonderful to sign on this morning and see you guys calling me! I am doing fine. Babies have grown at an alarming rate in my fourth month. The heartbeats sound strong and sure.<P>I have a whole team of doctors monitoring me because of my chronic heart condition, but, so far, God has been on our side. Right now they are closely monitoring the increased volume of blood because it makes it harder for the heart to pump -- and that is my problem -- my heart does not pump blood efficiently. Also, the increased hormones can bring on heart rhythm problems. I trust the team -- I have a great perinatologist and cardiologist -- so we are hopeful. <BR>My cervix has been stitched -- I also have a problem with a condition they call "incompetent cervix" where the pressure of the growing fetus causes the cervix to dilate and open. So now I am mostly in bed. <P>Since I also have a fibroid, I am already HUGE. It is pretty difficult to sleep at night because I usually sleep on my stomach. Plus, after laying in bed all day it is really hard to get to sleep at night. But, I am making the best of it.<P>I get up occasionally and check on all you guys at MB but I usually don't stay up long enough to actually write posts. <P>Keep praying for me everyone. I read a post under one of the other threads about all the things that can still go wrong in a high risk pregnancy and it really scared the heck out of me! I know I still have a long way to go. But, you know my philosophy -- it is in God's hands.<P>I will post when I can and I will try to do it more often. Love to you all,<BR>heavenly<P>
