Hey Heavenly,
I just noticed that you have posted the past couple days. I was wondering how you and the babies were doing? I often think of you as I am feeding or changing Abbi, and wonder how you all are doing. Please let us know.
Love,
Tigger

Dear Tigger and everyone,
I am still lurking -- although I have fewer chances to get on the computer these days.
I have made it to 5 months but I make weekly visits to the doctor for tests. So far, I am doing fine and my heart is handling the increased fluids. The increased hormones have not stimulated anything detrimental -- so we are all continuing to hold our breath and pray a lot.
The only problem is that I really feel the strain of the pregnancy already. I am bigger than I was at delivery for my first two kids (I usually only gain about 15 pounds). I have already passed 20 lbs and still going ...
My ultrasounds have been good. I purposefully have forbidden them from telling me the sex of the babies. I am old-fashioned -- I want it to be a surprise. I have told my H not to shop for anything yet -- I am also superstitious! So, I am waiting until past the 6th month.
I used to be able to sit up for about an hour and I no longer feel comfortable doing that. I have gotten on the Forum a couple of times but there are many new people and new stories and I felt overwhelmed because I could not catch up with everything.
I am sorry to see so many new members -- it seems sometimes like the production of OCs has become an epidemic! I would love to offer some comfort to the new members but I am not able to do much at this time.
Thanks for thinking about me Tigger. Gem e-mails me from time to time to make sure I have my feet up [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]! Keep those updates on Abbi coming. I hope you are keeping yourself busy and coping okay without Sailorman [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]. I hope the time will fly by and he will be back with you before you know it.
Love to all,
heavenly

Heavenly,
keep those feet up! I've been thinking about you as well. I hear you on the superstitions. I did the same thing. Wouldn't buy a stitch of clothing until 6 months. But I couldn't resist knowing the sex.
Love you much,
Z.
------------------
Zebra Baby ...
Lord, give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Well on Christmas that year son was 1 month old and colic...I put on my size 16 outfit my Mom got me cuz I was soooo depressed and cried the whole time w/colic son!! Heavenly,
I am so happy that things are still as well as can be expected!! I will continue to pray for you and the little Heavenly's health. I am happy that your heart condition is still ok with the pregnancy. Just give me the word about the blankets, and I will start them for you. I understand about not wanting to buy anything till the 6 month mark. I have tons of different paterns to choose from, so all I need to know is when to buy the yarn to start them. Right now, I am making one for my SIL (Sailorman's oldest brother's wife). She is due in March, so Abbi will have someone to play with now when we go home to visit family, once we are back on the mainland.
Speaking of Abbi, she is growing SO fast! She is now attempting to sit up by herself. She can do it if you are holding her in your lap, or if she is in her bouncer, but when she is on the floor, she slowly falls over onto her side. Now, when she rolls onto her tummy, she starts to put her knees under her belly. I have sent a pic to Happy_girl, and she said that she will put it up soon.
Sailorman will be home in a month. He is also going to be able to go to AZ to meet with our realtor to get any other necessary paperwork done to sell the house. We are really praying that it is sold by Sept, so we won't be responsible for the mortgage on our own. Please continue to keep that in your prayers.
Well, again, I am glad that things are going well so far.
Love,
Tigger

Heavenly,
So glad to hear you are doing well!
I also waited to know what sex my daughter was and everyone (except my midwife) swore it was a boy. I carried so low I never noticably dropped. OH yes. And I gained 40-45 lbs. Maybe that isnt too much, but I did not way much to begin with so it looked like 200 lbs. on me..lol. Oh, and to give H the credit he though she was a girl too. Heavenly, I have not been online in days, and was happy to see this post. I, too, think of you and pray that you and your little angels are doing well. I just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. You have always been such a great comfort in the past with your wonderful words of wisdom. Stay well, and yes keep those feet up. I don't know how any pregnant woman can be on bedrest and not gain a lot (esp. with twins!)!!
I was not on bedrest with any of mine and still gained about 60 lbs each time! (BIG babies, lost it all afterward). Health is the key.
Best wishes and warm fuzzies to pregnant ladies!
