I just got a lovely e-postcard from give-a-hint.com, the site that was mentioned here a week or two ago. It was about my "nosiness" and asking me not to get involved with other people's business. I figure it has to be related to this site, but I am puzzled about it for two reasons:<BR>1. I haven't been on the board much lately, certainly not enough to be "nosy" so I can't imagine whom I have offended here.<BR>2. I only email with a select number of people, all of which have initiated contact with me, not vice versa, so I don't believe it was any of them.<P>at any rate, since I can't figure out who would be annoyed with me poking into their business, since I have poked into ANYbody's business of late, I can only guess that it was a random hit by a lurker (or unwanted poster) who got my email addy here. If so, tough luck to them. I am too dense to be offended. <P>But I was curious to see if anybody else got hit with one.<BR>-cd

Mrs. J,<BR>Actually, "Nosetta" is an "in joke" between me and Ohbratti1, and not something I would call myself regarding the rest of the forum. especially since I have not been around to offer much opinion one way or the other lately.<P>There have been MANY times in the past, no doubt, where I have rubbed somebody the wrong way. I'm not going to apologize for that - primarily because I don't write anything with the intent to harm, like others have done (example: bonniebb's harsh response to your recent post - I think that was malicious, cruel, and totally unwarrented).<P>I'm not concerned about it too much, but it makes me wonder...if I am the only one who got one, I think I can probably guess what it is in relation to - and if it is who I think it is, it doesn't bode well for a certain somebody in a certain situation that I cannot mention here.<P>blue,<BR>even if somebody did get the idea from you, it doesn't matter, so don't worry about it. It is inconsequential because it's almost impossible to hurt my feelings anymore. dealing with our wacky ow has certainly toughened me up a lot.

Hmmmm... Nope, have not received from nor sent anything like that to anyone. How crude and rude... OH and what a weak coward--didn't even have the guts to sign their name to it... <P>Nevertheless, it is disturbing to hear that someone would go completely out of their way to do something like that. Ok Ok it was me...Ok not really. I did check out the site though. Some of them were funny and some were dumb. I wouldn't sweat it, besides, even if you are nosy (not saying your are) what are 'we' going to do, come beat you up...over the internet!!!<P>I occasionally play online first person shooter games and it's always funny to see people get pissed at other players and start threatening them and calling names.
