Just wanted to share the news.
H and I are going to be GRANDPARENTS in late March!
My son and his future wife are expecting our first grandchild.
We are busy making wedding plans for Nov.
We called Mill Creek Park(a huge natural park a 1/2 block from us)Flower Garden Centre. It's a beautiful flowergarden where they just finished a 3 story building this past winter. We are going to use the auditorium. It's beautiful!
Classy....The area art's program holds wine tastes and meetings there. It's like having a reception at a country club. My son and his future wife deserve it. Whoopeee!!!!
We are very happy for them. As far as we can see they are going to live here w/us.

God works in wonderous ways. We've just decided not to have anything further to do w/o/baby. Our son told us that he's glad about that now. That oc will be raised in ow's house and become another brat like her other 3 kids(sorry, but they are wise butts w/mouths). He doesn't want the interference and constant arguements that would go w/visits.
He wants us to concentrate on their baby "who will be blood of YOU and me and Dad, Mom...all of us RELATED by blood" (isn't he sweet?)
H can't wait! I know you can't replace one child w/another...but it's more like replacing the "idea" of oc w/our new little one to be.
Something we all are looking forward to w/love and no pain there, you know?
Son likes our idea of buying oc gifts to put away should he ever show up. Doesn't really want a brother the same age as his son who will take the attention away from Grandpa Gemini.
Only children really DON'T like to share.... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)
Neither do only wives! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)
I think this is the miracle we needed to finally pull all of us together as God intended. Hope ow's H will move back w/her and their family and raise the baby well. Prayers from all would be great at this time.
love
Debi/ Grandma Gemini1
------------------
Imagine....

Debi,
Congrats!!!! Give Tonk and the future Mrs. Tonk my best wishes. Hopefully your son will use this as a learning experience. My H didn't his father did the same thing to his mother and he ended up doing it to me. He feels the pain our children have and it makes him relive all the pain and hurt he went through. On an happier note my mother is also a young grandmother she's only 47. She's tickled pink everytime someone says your son is so cute. (my son of course) Enjoy being a grandma.

Unsure

Debi,
I am so happy for you and your family(soon to be extended family! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif) ) I guess there were a lot of couples "getting busy" a couple months ago! That is when my sister is due, and my sister-in-law(Sailorman's oldest brother's wife)!
I wish Tonk and his furture wife much happiness, and like Unsure said, may they have a stronger marriage after seeing what you and H have been through the past year. I would recommend maybe getting them the new book "Fall in Love, Stay in Love". We just ordered it, and I'm waiting for Sailorman to get home(on tuesday) before I start reading it. It's kinda all Harley's books/principles in one book(workbook included).
Again, I am so happy and wish your whole family peace, love and happiness!!
Love,
Tigger

Unsure I will be the cutest Grandma too! HA HA
We went to look for her wedding gown yesterday and to see the auditorium at the flower garden centre.
We found a gown...hated the hall as there wasn't enough room for 250 people! We're still making calls.
Hey Tigger...nice suggestion for a book for the happy Mr.& Mrs. We are all so excited! She's a lovely lady.
love
Debi
------------------
Imagine....
